LIFD- Islip Tactical Ambulance

While most of Long Island relies on volunteers, The Tactical Ambulance Program is designed to
provide EMS 1st Response while volunteers are working. The Town of Islip contracts out Long Island
Jewish/ North Shore Hospital Paramedics to respond to all EMS calls during business hours. Their
office is located in a trailer in the Southside Hospital parking lot in Bay Shore.
