- Centerport is expecting the delivery of a new ladder truck to replace the current 2-6-1 - Dix Hills will be getting a new ambulance to replace 2-8-25, the current one will replace 2-8-27 (fire police). The old 2-8-27 will be assigned to HQ again as a Fire Police unit. - East Islip is expecting a new ambulance and tower ladder over the 2009 Summer. - Northport VA FD is expecting the delivery of a 2009 Pierce for the replacement of the current Engine 2-13-2, which is a 1984 Duplex/ Walter.
